Although hiring preference is given to persons who have served in Canadian Forces or the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, persons with service to country, eg. police, fire, Coast Guard personnel, will be considered for employment.
To be considered for employment with CNS you must be of good character and be able to pass our pre-employment screening criteria. You must be in good health and have a level of physical fitness consistent with job requirements.You must provide, at your expense, a current Criminals Records Check.
Training Provided Prior to being hired as a Commissionaire applicants are required to attend the Commissionaire Qualifying Course. This course, provided free of charge, runs for six days, includes first aid training, and meets the standards established by the Canadian General Standards Board (CGSB) for security guards. |
