Commissionaires Nova Scotia has been contracted by the Halifax – Dartmouth Bridge Commission (HDBC) for ensuring compliance with the stated mission of the HDBC. That is, to provide safe, convenient and reliable passage for its patrons in accordance with HDBC By – Laws, Policies and Procedures and Site Work Instructions issued by Commissionaires Nova Scotia. The Shift Manager is a key position in meeting this objective. Due to the nature of this assignment, it is imperative that the Shift Manager maintain a high standard of performance. The Shift Manager must present a professional image, including dress, deportment, and remain impartial, firm, but polite in all dealings with employees, client stakeholders and the visiting public. This is a supervisory position and, as such, the Shift Manager has overall responsibility for the shift personnel and will act as the senior manager outside of regular business hours.
