Quality Assurance Manager – Part Time (Approximately 15 hours/month)

Commissionaires Nova Scotia (CNS) is committed to ensuring we remain ISO compliant so that we have a work environment of continual improvement in the provision of security and other management, technical and administrative services for government, industrial and commercial clients in conformity with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
CNS is seeking the services of a Quality Assurance Manager on a part time basis. This person reports to the CNS Management team through quarterly (or as needed) meetings and is responsible for ensuring audits occur and CNS is compliant through the scheduled audits. In addition to audits, the Quality Assurance Manager ensures written procedures are in place and current. The Quality Assurance Manager maintains compliance procedures and tracks metrics to demonstrate quality achievement. The role also includes managing all quality records.
Training and experience in quality management is a requirement for this position as are well developed communication skills (verbal and written). The Quality Assurance Manager must have superior organizational and time management skills, and experience and training in Quality Management and Internal Quality Audits. A sound knowledge of CNS Policies and Procedures and the mandate of the Corps is considered a strong asset.
